Troy stays on the road Wednesday morning, meeting Saint Francis in Fort Myers. The Trojans sit at 4–4, but they’ve stumbled lately, dropping four of their last five including a 7-point loss to Toledo on Tuesday. Saint Francis, meanwhile, hasn’t won a game yet this season and just got blown out by nearly 40 against Belmont.

Troy’s offense has been explosive at times, averaging close to 90 points per game on 45% shooting. But when they lose, the scoring dries up — only 68 against Toledo, for example. Their defense hasn’t helped either, giving up nearly 84 points per game overall and closer to 88 in their losses. But here’s the catch: both defenses are shaky, and both offenses have shown stretches of inconsistency. That combination makes the total number more interesting than the side.

The line sits at 151.5, and I’m leaning under. Troy can score, but they’ve also shown they can stall out, especially on short rest. Saint Francis doesn’t have the offensive punch to push this game into the 150s unless Troy completely collapses defensively. Even if Troy controls the game, I don’t see Saint Francis contributing enough to push the total over.
