I’m not overthinking this one. Charlotte just isn’t a good football team right now. They’ve lost every FBS game by at least 11, can’t stop the run, and don’t have the offensive punch to make up for it. Their only win came against Monmouth, and even that didn’t tell us much. This is a team that’s still searching for an identity — not something you want to say heading into West Point against a physical Army squad that’s built to wear you down.

Army’s been up and down, sure, but this matchup fits them perfectly. They’re going to pound the rock behind a line that’s much stronger than anything Charlotte’s faced. Cale Hellums ran wild last week, and I expect more of the same here. The Black Knights should own the clock, control the tempo, and slowly break Charlotte’s defense apart. Even if the game doesn’t turn into a shootout, Army’s consistency on the ground should be enough to win this by three touchdowns.
