This feels like one of the strongest receiver spots on the board. Buffalo's offense gets all the headlines, but the real story lately has been its defense getting exposed through the air. The Bills are still winning games because Josh Allen keeps carrying them offensively, but opposing passing attacks have found plenty of success against this secondary, and that's exactly where Zay Flowers comes into this matchup.
Flowers has evolved from Baltimore's WR1 into the clear focal point of the passing game. The target share backs it up, the production backs it up, and the eye test definitely backs it up. When the Ravens need a big play, he's the first player Tyler Huntley and Lamar Jackson look for.
Coming off a 137-yard performance against Cincinnati, Flowers enters this game with momentum and confidence. More importantly, the volume remains elite. He's averaging nearly nine targets per game and continues to command over a quarter of Baltimore's passing opportunities.
The matchup couldn't be much more attractive. Buffalo ranks near the bottom of the league against opposing wide receivers and has struggled to contain explosive plays throughout the season. Recent opponents haven't needed perfect conditions to move the ball through the air against this defense.
Looking at recent results, the trend is obvious. Puka Nacua put up 138 yards, Tre Tucker went for 97, and several other receivers have posted strong numbers against this secondary. Buffalo continues to allow chunk gains and struggles to limit production from opposing WR1s.
What I like most is that Flowers can win in multiple ways. He doesn't need deep bombs to get there. He can beat coverage underneath, turn short receptions into explosive gains, or stretch the field vertically when defenses get too aggressive. That versatility gives him multiple paths to cash this number.
I also expect Baltimore to be aggressive offensively. Buffalo averages nearly 33 points per game, which often forces opponents into a more pass-friendly game plan. If the Bills get rolling offensively at home, Baltimore won't have the luxury of sitting on the football all afternoon.
The Ravens' rushing attack remains dangerous, but that actually helps Flowers. Defenses still devote significant resources to slowing Derrick Henry and respecting Baltimore's run game. That creates one-on-one opportunities outside that Flowers has consistently exploited all season.
Another factor is game environment. This projects as one of the most competitive games of the week between two playoff-caliber teams. Close games mean four quarters of offensive urgency, and that's exactly what you want when betting an alpha receiver's yardage prop.
Buffalo has allowed at least 226 passing yards to every quarterback it has faced this season, and the unit has been even more vulnerable over the last couple of weeks. If Baltimore finds success throwing the football, it's difficult to imagine Flowers not being heavily involved.
At the end of the day, this comes down to volume, matchup, and role. Flowers checks every box. He's the top target in Baltimore's offense, he's facing one of the league's most generous secondaries toward opposing receivers, and the projected game script should keep opportunities flowing all afternoon.
