Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles Prediction & Betting Pick | NFL Monday Night Football October 26, 2026
This line feels a little low for a receiver seeing the kind of volume CeeDee Lamb is right now. Dallas has plenty of issues offensively, but one thing hasn't changed: when Dak Prescott needs a play, he's looking for Lamb. Even in last week's ugly loss to Green Bay, Lamb still commanded a ridiculous 18 targets. That's the type of workload I want backing a receiving over.
The Cowboys enter this game desperate for a spark after back-to-back losses. The offense has stalled far too often, and part of that comes from an inconsistent run game. When Dallas can't establish Javonte Williams, the ball ends up in Prescott's hands, and that usually means a heavy dose of Lamb.
What makes this matchup so appealing is the way Philadelphia defends receivers. The Eagles are allowing one of the highest totals of receiving yards to opposing wideouts, and most of that damage has come from the exact area where Lamb operates best. The slot has been a consistent problem for this defense.
That's important because Lamb spends the majority of his snaps working inside. He doesn't need deep shots to pile up numbers. He can get there through volume alone with option routes, crossers, quick hitters, and yards after the catch.
The recent results against Philadelphia are hard to ignore. Over the last several weeks, opposing receivers have consistently posted strong numbers against this secondary. Parker Washington went for 124 yards, Puka Nacua put up 125, and Jalen Coker finished with 97. Those aren't isolated performances anymore. It's become a trend.
I also think game flow works in Lamb's favor. Philadelphia's offense may be limited without Jalen Hurts, but divisional games between these teams rarely stay conservative for long. Dallas should remain aggressive offensively knowing this is a critical game in the NFC East race.
Another angle I like is target share. Lamb owns nearly 29% of Dallas' passing offense, which gives him one of the safest volume floors in football. Few receivers are guaranteed double-digit targets every week. Lamb is one of them.
The Eagles may try to take away explosive plays on the perimeter, but that's not where Lamb does most of his damage anyway. His flexibility allows Dallas to move him around the formation and exploit whatever matchup is most favorable.
Even his "bad" games have been encouraging from a betting perspective. The production may fluctuate, but the opportunities don't. As long as Prescott keeps forcing the ball his way, Lamb is always a threat to cash this number on one drive.
Philadelphia's defense has quietly become one of the most attackable units in the league against high-volume receivers. They allow catches underneath, they've struggled against slot production, and they haven't shown an ability to consistently contain opposing WR1s.
At the end of the day, this comes down to role, matchup, and volume. Lamb checks all three boxes. With Dallas searching for answers offensively and Philadelphia continuing to leak production through the air, I expect another heavy-target game from the Cowboys' top weapon.
